The illogical Physics

Physics own the world. Whatever we do in our everyday life is an expression of Physical relations. For example, lets say you fall off your bike. If you were to put physics into this context, then you would understand that it is because of the centripetal force and your weight producing a torque on the bike.

Most of us would realize that the world around us is of complete common sense and logic. Lets say we have a scenario where a person opens a door and walks through it. This is probably the thought process going on in this persons brain.

1)I see the door, it is closed. I can't walk through the door.
2) What should I do? I must open the door to walk through it
3)If I touch the door knob, i can pull the door open
4) Yay! I got through the door:)

The above process may seem obviously 'duh' to the average joe on the street. However, lets examine the above closely. We will discover many assumptions made and perhaps realize that PHYSICS IS ILLOGICAL.

Lets examine point number 1 first. Whats wrong with it? It seems so common sense yeah? Not so. When the person sees the door, he ASSUMES that he cannot walk through the door. Thats the crux. What in the universe makes him think that he will not be able to walk through the door? Is it not possible that a body of mass can go through another body of mass? Here, we are asumming that one body of mass cannot go through another body of mass! This is where perhaps, a certarn 'law' of physics come into play. This 'law' states that one body of mass cannot go through another body of mass. ( I will explain why I put the ' ' later)

Ok now lets examine point number 3. In point 3 the person thinks that by touching the door knob, he will be able to increase the velocity of the door and in so doing shift the door away. The assumption here is that by producing a force on the door, the door will experience acceleration. Of course we know that this is true by the equation Fnetxt=mxchange in v.But the person takes it for granted. He thinks that this is logic. Common sense.

The point that I am driving here is that whatever we deem as 'logic' or 'common sense' is actually governed by a physical law or by a logical derivation of that physical law. Going back to point 1, the reason why i put that ' ' is because the 'law' is actually a logical derivation of perhaps, the law of quantem mechanics.

The most shocking 'secret to academic success'

Hi there, I'm back again! :) Haha a good day to everyone.

Today, I will be letting you in on the most shocking and astonding secret to academic success. No, it is not like what you see on self-help books, where there go blah blah blah..... on time management, positive thinking and all that bullcrap. In fact, it does not even come close. It is quite the opposite. Most people try to gain academic prowess by looking at big time areas, for they feel that these are crucial determinants. To a certain extent that is true. But if they were to change their mindsets and inspect at the finer details, they would probably discover that.............

So here it is. The most shocking and astonding secret to academic secret is good and neat hand-writing.

Now you must surely be stamping your feet and thinking 'What! After all this beating around the bush this moron says that the ultimate KEY is to..... write neatly?'. Yes, its true. Believe it.

Before I begin to elaborate, I would you to cast your doubts to a little corner and open your mind. Ok, so what exactly does it mean to write legibly (is it spelt like this?) and neatly. It is to write with focus and an awareness that you should write neatly. It is to write in a way where you actually put in just a little extra effort to make your sentences legible. Of course, I am not saying that you should have the handwrting of a robot. No. That would just compromise your style, seriously. What your handwriting should be is probably just a much neater version of your own handwriting. Yar i know that I have given you many definitions of what I mean, but that is just to ensure that the idea is clear.

So how does this actually help you?

1)Writing with an extra effort means that you take your work more seriously. In its essence, it is as though you are forcing yourself to be interested in what you are studying, although you don't give a damn actually.

2)Writing legibly and neatly lets you take pride in your work. This will motivate you to study even harder and attain WOW results!

3)Writing neatly helps you out alot when it comes to math and physics. Speaking from first hand experience! Writing neatly lets you take a logical and systematic approach to solving a problem.

Note: I find that this technique (or secret...) has the best effect for math and science.(particularly physics!) subjects.

Now, of course I would not crap so much if I had nothing to base it on. If it is that case then this article is not worth your read. Haha, but luckily, I can justify it from my own expereince. My studies sucked quite badly in secondary school. I failed my math and amath quite badly and all my other subjects was only average. This was when my handwriting reaches to the heavens and then to hell in just one stroke. However, after coming to JC, I realized this truth and viola! Magic Baby! I managed to get an A for both math and physics!

Whew! (hand pain) To end off, this secret is only a stepping stone to acheive good results. In the end, it is still your hardwork and your blood and your sweat that makes the difference!

Hope I have been of help!
